Alberta Human Rights Commission

AHRC needed help to rethink their digital content presentation and engage with younger users by refreshing their look and feel and designing a modern and responsive website. I worked with their internal team and I was responsible for: branding refresh, concepts, wireframes, mockups, prototype. In development, launching in 2023.

Brand

As part of the process we identified the need to modernize their current logo, expand their color palette and add unique shapes and patterns to their brand. The logo’s structure and concept were unchanged, but the shapes in the mark have been slightly streamlined, and the wordmark’s typeface has been updated to enhance legibility.

After interviewing the client, I explored 3 different design directions that would met the AHRC goals for the new website. Although distinct, the concepts could complement each other by mixing some elements like fonts or colour palettes to create a final and unique direction. Concept 3 was chosen by the client with a few adjustments
